Baseball Recap: Lower Richland Diamond Hornets vs. Wilson Tigers

Lower Richland was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their sixth straight loss. They lost 17-4 to the Wilson Tigers. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Tigers this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 18-3 last Tuesday.

Lower Richland saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Romari Randle, who scored a run and stole a base while going 1-for-3.

Lower Richland's defeat dropped their record down to 3-8-1. As for Wilson, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 9-6 record this season.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Lower Richland will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off.
