Soccer Recap: Aurora Comes Up Short

Aurora came into their game on Tuesday off a hard-fought close win, but unfortunately suffered a serious change of fortune. They came up short against the Northwest Vikings, falling 6-0. The result was an unpleasant reminder to Aurora of the 2-0 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in April of 2025.

Aurora now has a losing record of 2-3. As for Northwest, the victory (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 4-1.

Aurora has already played their next matchup, a 7-0 win against Lakeview on the 2nd. As for Northwest, they also wasted no time getting back out on the pitch and have already played their next contest, a 10-0 victory against York on the 2nd.
