Soccer Game Preview: Rancho Cucamonga vs. Chino Hills

The Rancho Cucamonga Cougars are taking a road trip to take on the Chino Hills Huskies at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.

Rancho Cucamonga is headed into Friday's following a draw, the team's first since December 20. They and Etiwanda finished up on equal footing with a 1-1 draw on Wednesday.

Meanwhile, Chino Hills' game on Wednesday was all tied up 1-1 at the half, but sadly for them it didn't stay that way. They fell just short of Damien by a score of 3-2. The loss was a bit of a surprise, as the Huskies came into the game with a sizable advantage in MaxPreps' California soccer rankings (they are ranked 41st, while the Spartans are ranked 572nd).

The defeat was their first on the road , dropping their record down to 9-2-2. With that draw, Rancho Cucamonga's record moves to 7-4-2.

Rancho Cucamonga beat Chino Hills by a goal when the teams last played back in January of 2024, winning 1-0. Will Rancho Cucamonga repeat their success, or does Chino Hills have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
