Volleyball Recap: Eagle Valley Starts Season with Loss on the Road + How To Watch

Eagle Valley had to hit the road for their first game and it wasn't the result they were hoping for. They lost 3-0 to the Montrose Red Hawks on Tuesday. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Devils of the 3-0 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in August of 2024.

While Eagle Valley ultimately came up short, they didn't go down without a fight: they scored at least 18 points in every set they played. The final score came out to 25-19, 25-18, 25-21.

Coming up, Eagle Valley will square off against Heritage at 9:00 a.m. on Friday. As for Montrose, they are headed away from home for the first time to square off against Bayfield at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
