Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Pius X). They were the clear victors by an 8-0 margin over the Standing Bear Grizzlies on Monday. It was an even better day for Maddox Miller as he scored three goals for his team.

Pius X now has a winning record of 5-4. As for Standing Bear, they are on a six-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 0-6.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Pius X will challenge rival Lincoln High at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Meanwhile, Standing Bear is set to face off against their familiar foe Beatrice at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday.
