Basketball Recap: Eleva-Strum Takes a Loss

Eleva-Strum was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their 28th straight defeat dating back to last season. They had to suffer through a 72-44 loss at the hands of the Fall Creek Crickets. While losing is never fun, the Cardinals can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Wisconsin basketball rankings (they are ranked 497th, while the Crickets are ranked 156th).

Eleva-Strum's loss dropped their record down to 0-24. As for Fall Creek, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won ten of their last 11 games. That's provided a nice bump to their 15-6 record this season.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: Fall Creek beat Eleva-Strum by a score of 72-44 on Tuesday.
