Basketball Recap: Crestmont Christian Prep Skates Past Mccauley Christian Academy with Ease

Crestmont Christian Prep can bid farewell to their five-game losing streak thanks to their game on Tuesday. They blew past the McCauley Christian Academy Warriors 49-21. Crestmont Christian Prep pushed the score to 41-11 by the end of the third, a deficit McCauley Christian Academy cut but never quite recovered from.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Crestmont Christian Prep to victory, but perhaps none more so than Paige Hubbard, who went 11 for 16 on her way to 24 points. That makes it three consecutive games in which Hubbard has scored at least a third of Crestmont Christian Prep's points. Savannah Head was another key player, dropping a double-double on 12 points and ten rebounds.

Crestmont Christian Prep smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 14 offensive boards. The team's really been improving in that area: they've now improved their offensive rebound total in four consecutive matchups.

Crestmont Christian Prep's win bumped their record up to 3-7. As for McCauley Christian Academy, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 0-2.
