Basketball Recap: Erick Wins Going Away Against Corn Bible Academy

Erick won the last time they faced Corn Bible Academy and things went their way on Friday too. Everything went the Erick Bearcats' way against the Corn Bible Academy Crusaders as the Erick Bearcats made off with a 74-48 win. The Bearcats have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won eight matches by 21 points or more this season.

Erick has also been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six contests, which provided a massive bump to their 10-6 record this season. They've dominated over that stretch too, winning by an average of 23.6 points. As for Corn Bible Academy, their loss ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 7-6.

A feisty cat fight is on tap when the Erick Bearcats take on the Duke Tigers at 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Erick is on a three-game streak of home wins, Duke a five-game streak of away wins -- so someone will have to leave a streak behind on the court. As for Corn Bible Academy, they are taking a road trip to square off against Calumet at 8:00 p.m. on Monday.
