Athens won the last time they faced Greenview and things went their way on Thursday too. The Warriors came out on top against the Bulldogs by a score of 2-0. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Warriors.

Athens not only won, but also showed off some consistency: they kept Greenview between 15 and 17 points across their sets. The final score came out to 25-15, 25-17.

Lydia Hart paced Athens' offense, picking up 13 kills. Hart got some help from Arabelle Cunningham and her 17 assists. Hart and Cunningham didn't slow down when it came to serving: they led the team with two apiece.

Athens has also opened the season with a perfect 2-0 record. As for Greenview, their loss dropped their record down to 2-1.

Looking ahead, Athens will take on Monmouth United in a tournament on Saturday. As for Greenview, they will take on Wethersfield at 8:30 a.m. on Saturday.
