Stafford waltzed into their matchup on Tuesday with three straight wins... but they left with four. They blew past the Worthing Colts 57-35.
Stafford got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Aniyah David out in front who posted 12 points. Braylee Cleveland was another key player, putting up 11 points.
Despite the defeat, Worthing saw an underclassman step up: freshman Aulayla Clark put up 14 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Jaedyn Nauling, who had eight points.
Stafford is on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six contests, which provided a nice bump to their 10-12 record this season. As for Worthing, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 8-4.
