Basketball Recap: Niles North Comes Up Short

Niles North lost against Payton College Prep back in November of 2023 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Niles North Vikings took a 47-40 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Payton College Prep Grizzlies. The Vikings' loss continues a trend for the team, making it four in a row.

Niles North's defeat dropped their record down to 5-5. As for Payton College Prep, the win snapped their losing streak at four games and leaves them with a 4-8 record.

Niles North will head out on the road to challenge Leyden at 10:00 a.m. on Monday. Leyden will roll in looking for their fourth straight victory, something Niles North surely won't give up without a fight. Payton College Prep and Niles West will compete for holiday cheer at 12:00 p.m. on Monday.
