There's no place like home for Teton, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Friday. They walked away with a 40-28 victory over the Basalt Longhorns on Friday. The Timberwolves' offense stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most points they've scored all season.

Luke Nelson threw for 218 yards and two touchdowns while completing 75% of his passes. Gideon Taylor was his top target, picking up 61 receiving yards and one TD. On the ground, Colt Kay rushed for 76 yards and a pair of scores.

When it comes to explaining why Basalt lost, don't look at Will Tarallo. Despite the final result, he rushed for 62 yards and a pair of touchdowns, and also picked up 69 receiving yards. Tarallo also deserves a shoutout for his performance on D, making five total tackles and defending two passes.

The win got Teton back to even at 2-2. As for Basalt, they now have a losing record of 2-3.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Teton will host Snake River at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Basalt, they will get a bit of extra time to process the defeat as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Delta at 7:00 p.m. on October 3.
