Baseball Recap: Middleton Comes Up Short

Middleton lost against West Carroll back in May of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. The Tigers lost 11-5 to the War Eagles.

Kamren Bumpus made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and went 2-for-4 with three stolen bases, two runs, and one double. He is becoming a predictor of Middleton's success: when he posts at least two runs the team is 6-1 (and 1-11 when he doesn't).

Middleton has been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 7-12 record this season. As for West Carroll, the victory snapped their losing streak at nine games and leaves them with a 4-20-1 record.
