Basketball Recap: Jacksonville Christian Academy's Win on Tuesday Extends Winning Streak to Three

Jacksonville Christian Academy extended their winning streak to three games thanks to a huge performance from Nylah Moore. The Jacksonville Christian Academy Conquerors walked away with a 44-37 win over the Pamlico Christian Academy Mariners on Tuesday thanks in part to Moore, who went 9 for 20 on her way to 23 points in addition to five assists and four steals. She is on a roll when it comes to steals, as she's now grabbed three or more in the last 26 games she's played dating back to last season.

The team also got some help courtesy of Addison Sweet, who posted eight points and seven boards. The dominant performance gave her a new career-high in points.

Jacksonville Christian Academy's record now sits at 6-2. As for Pamlico Christian Academy, their defeat dropped their record down to 7-6.

Jacksonville Christian Academy and Pamlico Christian Academy should be looking forward to their upcoming games as both have a sizable advantage in the MaxPreps North Carolina Rankings. Jacksonville Christian Academy (ranked 70th) will meet Faith Christian Academy (ranked 284th) at 6:15 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Pamlico Christian Academy (ranked 147th) will meet Liberty Christian Academy (ranked 339th) at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday.
