League recap: Kelly dominating on the mound for Pilgrim

Cosmo Kelly was the best pitcher in Omega this week. He won zero games and struck out 17 batters.

Dakota Prochnow was the hottest hitter in the league this week, racking up a .750 average with four RBIs. His Trinity Classical Academy team went 1-1.

Pilgrim's 42 strikeouts this week were a league-worst, but the Knights have struck out more times (191) than any other team this year

Even after stealing 23 bases to lead the league over the past week, Hillcrest Christian is still looking up at Trinity Classical Academy, which ranks No. 1 in steals, with 168 on the year. Daniel Fanto leads the Saints with 36 swipes so far this season.

The Patriots's Alec Palchikoff led the league in strikeouts this week with 17. With 92 strikeouts this year so far, he ranks second in the league.



Prochnow led the league with six hits this week for the Knights. His 45 hits for the year are first in the league, and he boasts a .625 batting average.

Alec Palchikoff had five hits in five at bats in Pilgrim's 8-1 victory over Hillcrest Christian on Thursday. He also drove in five runners.
