Freeport entered their tilt with Belvidere on Thursday with two consecutive wins, and they'll enter their next game with three. They came out on top against the Bucs by a score of 2-0.

Freeport easily took the first set, but they let things get interesting in the other. The match finished with set scores of 25-14, 25-19.

Their offense was headlined by Maddux Teresi and Sam Viveros, who picked up seven kills apiece. They got some help from Bryce Mcdanel and his 16 assists.

Freeport now has a winning record of 3-2. As for Belvidere, they are on a seven-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-6.

Freeport wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 2-0 loss against Rockford Auburn on the 15th. As for Belvidere, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 2-0 defeat against Riverside-Brookfield on the 11th.
