Football Recap: Everglades Takes a Loss + How To Watch

Everglades came into their game on Friday off a hard-fought close win, but unfortunately suffered a serious change of fortune. They were beaten by the Richmond Hill Wildcats 49-0. If the Gators were looking for revenge after losing 45-0 to the Wildcats when the teams met back in August of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Amire Miller had an outrageously good game for Richmond Hill as he rushed for 48 yards and two TDs. That's the most rushing yards Miller has posted since back in September of 2024.

Everglades' loss dropped their record down to 1-1. As for Richmond Hill, their win was their seventh straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 2-0.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Everglades will face off against Flanagan at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Richmond Hill, they will square off against New Hampstead at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
