Canyon won the last time they faced Hereford and Aiva Kerr did her part to make sure it happened again. The Eagles were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Whitefaces on Tuesday for which the team can thank Kerr, who had 36 digs and one assist. She has been hot, having posted 13 or more digs the last six times she's played.

Canyon never let Hereford on the board, but things got pretty close in the second set. The match finished with set scores of 25-14, 27-25, 25-15.

Hereford's loss came despite strong showings from Kyndall Valdez and Kaylee Alonzo. Valdez had 11 digs and one assist, while Alonzo had five digs.

Canyon is on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last nine contests. That's provided a massive bump to their 17-14 record this season. As for Hereford, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 15-17.

Canyon didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 3-0 victory against Perryton on the 11th. As for Hereford, they have also already played their next matchup, a 3-0 loss against West Plains on the 11th.
