Softball Recap: Barron Golden Bears vs. Ladysmith Lumberjacks
Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Barron). They blew past the Ladysmith Lumberjacks 21-9 on Thursday. Winning may never get old, but the Golden Bears sure are getting used to it with their third in a row.

Kailynn Duncan made a big impact no matter where she played. On the mound, she struck out ten batters over 4.2 innings while giving up three earned (and one unearned) runs off four hits. She has been consistent for a while: she hasn't tossed less than eight strikeouts any time she's pitched this season. She was also stellar in the batter's box, going a perfect 3-for-3 with four runs, two triples, and three RBI.
In other batting news, Micahlee Skjerly was incredible, going 3-for-4 with two stolen bases, three runs, and two doubles. Another player making a difference was Maggie Cole, who went 2-for-4 with three stolen bases, two runs, and two RBI.
