After a string of four wins, Caledonia's good fortune finally ran out on Saturday. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Forest Hills Northern Huskies. The Fighting Scots were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Huskies earlier this season, when they won 2-1.

Caledonia was held off the scoreboard, but that almost wasn't the case: they kept the second set very close. The match finished with set scores of 25-14, 25-22.

Lydia Bell paced Caledonia's offense, picking up six kills. Bell got some help from Reese Stafford and her eight assists. Kyla Charles controlled things from the service line, finishing with three aces.

Caledonia's loss dropped their record down to 11-10. As for Forest Hills Northern, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 12-5.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Caledonia will host Mona Shores at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Forest Hills Northern, they will look to defend their home court on Tuesday against Forest Hills Central at 6:00 p.m.
