Meanwhile, Kaneland kept a clean sheet against LaSalle-Peru on Wednesday. They put the hurt on the Cavaliers with a sharp 9-0 victory. Kaneland might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won nine matches by five goals or more this season.

Kaneland's win was their eighth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 15-5-1. The home victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 50 goals over those eight games. As for IC Catholic Prep, with the win, they broke their three-game losing streak and moved their record to 2-11-1.
