Baseball Recap: Cape Hatteras Takes a Loss

Cape Hatteras fell victim to Bear Grass Charter and their airtight pitching crew on Thursday. They lost 11-0 to the Bears. The Hurricanes have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Cape Hatteras saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was McCoy James, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with one stolen base and one double.

Cape Hatteras' loss dropped their record down to 8-7. As for Bear Grass Charter, they pushed their record up to 14-1 with the victory, which was their fourth straight on the road.

Coincidentally, Cape Hatteras and Bear Grass Charter will both be playing Columbia the next time they take the field. The Hurricanes will host the Wildcats at 5:00 p.m. on Monday, while the Bears will head out to face them at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
