Football Recap: Jasper Picks Up Fourth Straight Win on the Road

With a playoff win on the line, Jasper rose to the challenge on Friday. Their defense stepped up to hand the Boonville Pioneers a 14-0 shutout. The Wildcats have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Pioneers, too.

Jasper pushed their record up to 8-2 with the victory, which was their fourth straight on the road. Those road wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 31.8 points over those games. As for Boonville, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 4-6.

Coming up, Jasper will be playing in front of their home fans against Evansville Harrison at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Boonville does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
