Soccer Game Preview: North vs. Catalina Foothills

The North Mustangs will take on the Catalina Foothills Falcons in a holiday battle at 6:00 p.m. on Monday at. Expect the scorekeeper to be kept busy: if their previous games are any indication, both will really light up the scoreboard.

North is headed into Monday's game looking for a big change in momentum after dropping their third straight game on Tuesday. They took a 6-4 hit to the loss column at the hands of Kellis. Even if the Mustangs couldn't come away with the win, the high-scoring effort was a great turnaround for their offense, which had struggled int the games prior.

Meanwhile, Catalina Foothills made easy work of Buena on Thursday and carried off a 6-3 victory. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Falcons.

They hit Buena with a four-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Bryce Weege (2), Miguel Ruiz-Briones (2), Giovanni Procopio, and Seth Nottingham.

North's loss dropped their record down to 1-3. As for Catalina Foothills, they now have a winning record of 3-2.
