It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Newberry can now relate to. They were dealt a 69-32 loss at the hands of the St. Ignace Saints on Monday. The Indians' defeat signaled the end of their five-game winning streak.

Newberry's loss dropped their record down to 15-8. As for St. Ignace, the win was the 21st in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 24-1.
