Basketball Recap: Richland Takes a Loss

Richland suffered their biggest defeat since January 19th on Tuesday. They were dealt a 54-19 loss at the hands of the Argyle Eagles. The contest marked the Royals' lowest-scoring matchup so far this season.

Richland has traveled a rocky road recently having lost four of their last five games, which put a noticeable dent in their 7-9 record this season. As for Argyle, they pushed their record up to 16-3 with the win, which was their fifth straight on the road dating back to last season.

Richland will head out to face off against Denton at 5:45 p.m. on Friday. Denton will roll in looking for their fourth straight victory, something Richland surely won't give up without a fight. As for Argyle, they will host Grapevine at 12:15 p.m. on Saturday.
