Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Northwest). Their pitchers stepped up to hand the South Titans a 27-0 shutout on Thursday. The Grizzlies might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won seven matches by ten runs or more this season.

The win made it two in a row for Northwest and bumps their season record up to 12-9. The victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 16.0 runs over those games. As for South, they are on a 29-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-21.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: Northwest beat the Titans by a score of 23-2 later that day.
