Durant waltzed into their matchup on Tuesday with four straight wins... but they left with five. They walked away with a 29-22 win over the Tahlequah Tigers. Given the Lions' advantage in MaxPreps' Oklahoma basketball rankings (they are ranked 79th, while the Tigers are ranked 238th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Durant pushed their record up to 16-7 with the victory, which was their third straight at home. As for Tahlequah, they have been struggling recently as they've lost six of their last seven games, which has put a noticeable dent in their 6-12 record this season.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. A feisty cat fight will be fought as the Lions take on the Tigers at 3:00 p.m. on Saturday. As for Tahlequah, they will look to defend their home court on Friday against Edison at 6:00 p.m.
