Volleyball Recap: Genoa Christian Academy Takes Loss Despite Strong Performances from Reagan Schuck and Cadence Nixon

Genoa Christian Academy was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Liberty Christian Academy Eagles. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against Liberty Christian Academy this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-2 back in September.

The match finished with set scores of 25-23, 25-11, 19-25, 25-20.

Genoa Christian Academy's loss came despite strong showings from Cadence Nixon and Reagan Schuck. Nixon had 21 digs, while Schuck had 11 digs and ten kills. Nixon is on a roll when it comes to digs, as she's now had ten or more in each of the last three games she's played. Faith Griffey also deserves some recognition as she served her first ace of the season.

Genoa Christian Academy's loss dropped their record down to 3-13. As for Liberty Christian Academy, their win ended a four-match drought on the road and puts them at 8-13.
