Volleyball Recap: Steele Finds Home Court Redemption Against Firelands

There's no place like home for Steele, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Thursday. They blew past the Firelands Falcons 3-0 on Saturday.

One reason for the win was Steele's just kept getting better, winning each set by more points than the last. The match finished with set scores of 26-24, 25-16, 25-15.

Kendal Dobbins paced Steele's offense, picking up 13 kills. Dobbins got some help from Callie Beckler and her 21 assists. Elizabeth Vidovich controlled things from the service line, finishing with three aces.

The win got Steele back to even at 2-2. As for Firelands, their loss dropped their record down to 0-2.

Steele didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 3-0 defeat against Olmsted Falls on the 26th. As for Firelands, they have also already played their next match, a 3-0 victory against Clearview on the 26th.
