Baseball Recap: Cocoa Tigers vs. Brevard HEAT Firehawks

Cocoa was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their 28th straight loss dating back to last season. They lost 14-4 to the Brevard HEAT Firehawks. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Firehawks this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 22-8 back in March.

E.J. Bracetty was cooking despite his team's loss, scoring two runs and stealing five bases while going 2-for-2. Levi Choron also deserves some recognition as he brought in his first RBI of the season.

Cocoa's record now sits at 0-14. As for Brevard HEAT, their record is now 4-11.

Coming up, Cocoa will take on Evans at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. The Tigers' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Trojans have averaged an impressive 6.3 runs per game this season. As for Brevard HEAT, they will be playing at home against The Classical Academy of Sarasota at 4:00 p.m. on Friday.
