Basketball Recap: Cave Springs Triumphs

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Braggs, Cave Springs was happy to have turned things around on Thursday. They narrowly escaped with a victory as the team sidled past the Bluejacket Chieftains 44-41. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Hornets also won the last time the pair played back in January of 2023.

Cave Springs moved to 5-6 with that win, which also ended their three-game losing streak. As for Bluejacket, they dropped their record down to 5-9 with the defeat, which was their fourth straight at home.

Cave Springs wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 52-40 loss against Afton on the 24th. As for Bluejacket, they will take on Oaks-Mission at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Bluejacket is facing Oaks-Mission at the right time seeing as Oaks-Mission is stuck on an eight-game losing streak.
