St. Joseph had already proven themselves in the regular season and they didn't miss a beat now that it's playoff time. They narrowly escaped with a victory as the squad sidled past the Law Lawmen 5-4. Winning may never get old, but the Cadets sure are getting used to it with their 12th in a row.

Katie Dzialo spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered only one earned (and three unearned) runs on four hits and racked up 11 Ks. She has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't tossed less than five strikeouts in 23 consecutive appearances.
