Softball Recap: Dakota Valley Wins Going Away Against Watertown

The Dakota Valley Panthers made easy work of the Watertown Arrows on Friday and carried off an 8-1 victory.

Dakota Valley is on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 6-2 record this season. The wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 8.2 runs over those games. As for Watertown, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-6.

Dakota Valley didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next game, a 16-7 victory against Pierre T.F. Riggs on the 2nd. As for Watertown, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next matchup, a 6-2 loss against Harrisburg on the 2nd.
