Volleyball Recap: Muncie Central's Win on Saturday Extends Winning Streak to Three

Muncie Central had already won two in a row and they went ahead and made it three on Saturday. They walked away with a 2-0 victory over the Lafayette Jefferson Bronchos. For the Bearcats, this counts as revenge for the 2-1 win the Bronchos walked away with the last time they faced one another back in October of 2024.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-17, 25-20.

Kendall Kahle paced Muncie Central's offense, picking up 12 kills. Kahle got some help from Grace Walker and her 18 assists. Haeley Rollins controlled things from the service line, finishing with three aces.

Muncie Central's record now sits at 17-11. As for Lafayette Jefferson, they have been struggling recently as they've lost six of their last eight contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 7-19 record this season.

Muncie Central has already played their next match, a 2-0 victory against Anderson on the 11th. As for Lafayette Jefferson, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 2-0 win against Richmond on the 11th.
