Volleyball Recap: DSST: College View Snags Fourth Win in Last Five Games

The DSST: College View Wolves were able to grind out a solid victory over the Denver East Angels on Friday, taking the game 3-1.

DSST: College View got the W, but it wasn't easy, at least in the third set. The match finished with set scores of 12-25, 25-19, 30-28, 25-12.

Diego Moreno paced DSST: College View's offense, picking up 17 kills. Moreno got some help from Manuel Munoz and his 27 assists. Moreno and Munoz didn't slow down when it came to serving: they led the team with three apiece.

DSST: College View is on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 9-4 record this season. As for Denver East, their defeat ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 6-6.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. DSST: College View is set to take on their familiar foe Regis Groff at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Denver East will challenge rival Denver South at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday.
