Basketball Recap: Milan Comes Up Short

Milan lost against South Ripley on January 8th and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Milan Indians were beaten by the South Ripley Raiders 96-59. While losing is never fun, the Indians can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Indiana basketball rankings (they are ranked 266th, while the Raiders are ranked 50th).

Milan now has a losing record at 5-6. As for South Ripley, the victory keeps them at an undefeated 15-0.

Milan will take on Jac-Cen-Del at 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday. South Ripley has already played their next contest (against Connersville), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
