Basketball Recap: Holbrook Snags Tenth Victory in Last 13 Games

If Atlantis wanted to avenge their loss from the last time they played Holbrook, they should've done a better job of containing Ashya Dingle. The Holbrook Bulldogs blew past Atlantis 46-5 on Wednesday thanks in part to Dingle, who posted 18 points in addition to six assists and six steals. That makes it three consecutive games in which she has scored at least a third of Holbrook's points.

The team also got some help courtesy of Emma Tran, who put up eight points and four steals. That's the most points she has posted since back in December of 2024.

Holbrook is on a roll lately: they've won ten of their last 13 matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 11-7 record this season. Those victories came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 22.2 points over those games. As for Atlantis, they are on a 19-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-5.

Coming up, Holbrook will venture away from home to take on Norfolk County Agricultural at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Norfolk County Agricultural will roll in looking for their ninth straight win, something Holbrook surely won't give up without a fight. Atlantis has already played their next game (against Bristol County Agricultural), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
