Basketball Recap: Lake Holcombe Takes a Loss

Lake Holcombe was the 51-48 winner over Flambeau when they last played one another back in January, but their luck changed this time around. The Lake Holcombe Chieftains fell to the Flambeau Falcons 62-57. The Chieftains have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Flambeau got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Eli Hruby out in front who shot 41% from the field to rack up 17 points. That's the most points Hruby has posted since back in December of 2024. Dominic Kopacz was another key player, going 7-for-15 en route to 17 points.

Lake Holcombe's loss dropped their record down to 8-14. As for Flambeau, the win snapped their losing streak at three games and leaves them with a 17-6 record.

As of now, neither Lake Holcombe nor Flambeau have any future games scheduled.
