Football Game Preview: Carroll Academy Rebels vs. Indianola Academy Colonels

For the first time this season, Carroll Academy will have a chance to prove themselves in a conference matchup. They will head out to challenge the Indianola Academy Colonels at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Neither of those teams managed to put together many points in their previous contests, so the offenses might be a little more motivated than usual.

Carroll Academy is headed into Friday's matchup looking for a big change in momentum after dropping their third straight games on Friday. They were dealt a 42-6 defeat at the hands of Winona Christian. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest loss the Rebels have suffered against the Stars since October 21, 2016.

Meanwhile, Indianola Academy played a tough game on Friday in which they were outscored in every quarter. They lost 35-13 to St. Joseph. The Colonels have struggled against the Fighting Irish recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive lost matchup.

Indianola Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 2-5. As for Carroll Academy, they now have a losing record of 3-4.

Everything went Carroll Academy's way against Indianola Academy when the teams last played back in September of 2022, as Carroll Academy made off with a 26-3 victory. Will the Rebels repeat their success, or do the Colonels have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
