Lincoln-Way East has gone a perfect 8-0 against Bradley-Bourbonnais recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Monday. The Griffins will venture away from home to take on the Boilermakers at 4:30 p.m. Lincoln-Way East will aim to continue their three-game streak of scoring more runs each match than the last.

On Friday, Lincoln-Way East got the win against Homewood-Flossmoor by a conclusive 14-7. Considering the Griffins have won 14 contests by more than five runs this season, Friday's blowout was nothing new.

Meanwhile, after a string of four wins, Bradley-Bourbonnais' good fortune finally ran out on Friday. They wound up with the same score they had in their last game (3-1), but sadly the team found themselves on the wrong side of the score this time.

Bradley-Bourbonnais saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Tristin Woods, who went 1-for-2 with one run and one double.

Lincoln-Way East's victory was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 23-4. The home wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 9.0 runs over those games. As for Bradley-Bourbonnais, their loss dropped their record down to 18-11.

Lincoln-Way East skirted past Bradley-Bourbonnais 2-0 in their previous matchup back in April. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Griffins since the squad won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
