Soccer Recap: Covington Takes a Loss

While it was all tied up 1-1 at halftime, Covington was not quite North Montgomery's equal in the second half on Monday. They fell 4-2 to the Chargin' Chargers. Covington were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as North Montgomery apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in August of 2024.

This is the second loss in a row for Covington and nudges their season record down to 0-2.

Covington wasted no time getting back out on the pitch and has already played their next match, a 3-1 loss against Faith Christian on the 21st. As for North Montgomery, they also didn't take long to hit the pitch again: they've already played their next contest, a 3-1 win against Lafayette Central Catholic on the 21st.
