Volleyball Recap: Rolling Hills Prep Comes Up Short

In Thursday's Canine Competition, Rolling Hills Prep had to take the L. They came up short against the California Academy of Math & Science Coyotes on Thursday, falling 3-0. The Huskies haven't had much luck with the Coyotes recently, as the team has come up short the last eight times they've met.

While Rolling Hills Prep was kept off the board, it wasn't for a lack of trying: they cut into California Academy of Math & Science's winning margin in every set. The final score came out to 25-8, 25-15, 25-19.

Rolling Hills Prep's defeat dropped their record down to 0-2. As for California Academy of Math & Science, their victory was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 12-4.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Rolling Hills Prep will square off against SEED: LA at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. As for California Academy of Math & Science, they will head out to square off against Hawthorne Math & Science Academy at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
