Baseball Recap: San Dimas Finds Home Field Redemption Against Millikan

There's no place like home for San Dimas, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Friday. They were the clear victors by an 11-4 margin over the Millikan Rams on Thursday. Considering the Saints have won seven matches by more than five runs this season, Thursday's blowout was nothing new.

Jayden Claros was incredible, going 4-for-5 with two runs, two RBI, and one double. Those four hits gave him a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Vaughn Coleman, who got on base in four of his five plate appearances with two stolen bases, two runs, and one RBI.

San Dimas was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .429. That's the best batting average they've posted all season.

San Dimas' record is now 14-9. As for Millikan, the defeat snapped their winning streak at three games and leaves them with a 20-7 record.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. San Dimas will take on Colony at 3:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Millikan, they will challenge Woodrow Wilson at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
