Basketball Recap: First Christian Comes Up Short

First Christian was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their ninth straight defeat. They had to suffer through a 58-30 loss at the hands of the Hart 2 Hart Academy Warriors. Having soared to a lofty 58 points in the game before, the Lions couldn't push the score so high this time.

Hart 2 Hart Academy got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Jordan Keen out in front who dropped a double-double on 22 points and 12 rebounds. Keen is also on a roll when it comes to blocks, as he's now posted two or more in the last five games he's played. Another player making a difference was Landon Hart, who went 5 for 11 en route to 16 points in addition to five assists and five steals.

First Christian's loss dropped their record down to 4-18. As for Hart 2 Hart Academy, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four games, which provided a nice bump to their 10-5 record this season.

First Christian does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Hart 2 Hart Academy, they will head out to square off against First Assembly Christian Academy at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. Hart 2 Hart Academy is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 50.5 points per game this season.
