Volleyball Recap: Belmont Takes a Loss

Belmont lost against Contreras back in February, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. Belmont lost 3-0 to Contreras. The Sentinels have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Belmont was held off the scoreboard, but that almost wasn't the case: they kept the first set very close. The match finished with set scores of 25-22, 25-13, 25-20.

Belmont's defeat dropped their record down to 3-6. As for Contreras, they are on a roll lately: they've won six of their last seven matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 8-3 record this season.

Coincidentally, Belmont and Contreras will both be playing Hollywood the next time they take the court. Belmont will host Hollywood at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday, while Contreras will head out to face them at 4:00 p.m. on April 7.
