Jenkintown is still winless after their match against Friends Select on Tuesday, but the team can take solace in the fact it was the closest they've come to winning. They were two runs away from ending the streak, but they lost an 8-6 heartbreaker at the hands of the Falcons. On the bright side, the six- run effort marked the Drakes' highest-scoring contest to date.

Max Bellew was cooking despite his team's loss, going 1-for-3 with one home run and three RBI. He also put up a run, which was his first of the season. Another player making a difference was Logan Auxter, who scored a run and stole a base while getting on base in three of his four plate appearances.

Jenkintown's loss dropped their record down to 0-7. As for Friends Select, they have started the season off flawlessly and has a 2-0 record to show for it.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Jenkintown will head out to square off against The Christian Academy at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Friends Select, they are headed away from home for the first time to face off against Academy of the New Church at 4:00 p.m. on Friday. This will be the Falcons' first chance to prove their worth in the conference.
