Football Recap: Bishop Ryan Comes Up Short

Bishop Ryan kicked off their season on the road on Friday and hit a couple of potholes. They were beaten by the Bottineau Braves/Stars 35-6. The Lions were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Braves/Stars apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in October of 2016.

The win (which was Bottineau's third in a row) raised their record to 3-0.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Bishop Ryan will challenge rival Ray/Powers Lake on Friday. Meanwhile, Bottineau is set to take on their familiar foe Velva/Garrison/Drake/Anamoose on Friday.
