Baseball Recap: Three Straight Home Wins for Cascade Christian

The home team had won the previous two meetings between Cascade Christian and Seattle Christian, and Cascade Christian kept the tradition alive. The Cougars came out on top against the Warriors by a score of 9-5 on Monday. That's the third time they've managed to beat them this season, with their most recent win being a 6-1 victory back in April.

Ben Dewey was a standout: he went 2-for-3 with three runs, one stolen base, and two RBI. That's the most RBI he has posted since back in March of 2024. Another player making a difference was Blake Maggart, who went a perfect 3-for-3 with two RBI and one run.

Cascade Christian was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .419. That's the best batting average they've posted all season.

Cascade Christian's win was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 7-10. The home victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.0 runs on average over those games. As for Seattle Christian, their loss dropped their record down to 9-9.
