Basketball Game Preview: Granger Lions vs. Rosebud-Lott Cougars

Granger is on a seven-game streak of home wins, while Rosebud-Lott is on a three-game streak of away wins: one of those streaks is about to end. A feisty cat fight is on tap when the Granger Lions take on the Rosebud-Lott Cougars at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. Granger will be strutting in after a win while Rosebud-Lott will be coming in after a loss.

Granger is headed into the match after thoroughly thrashing Milano: they outscored them in every quarter. Given that consistent dominance, it should come as no surprise that Granger blew Milano out of the water with a 60-28 final score. The Lions have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won 13 contests by 22 points or more this season.

Meanwhile, Rosebud-Lott unfortunately witnessed the end of their four-game winning streak on Wednesday. They came up short against Thorndale, falling 29-8. Having soared to a lofty 63 points in the game before, the Cougars couldn't push the score so high this time.

Granger is on a roll lately: they've won 12 of their last 14 games, which provided a nice bump to their 22-6 record this season. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 51.9 points per game. As for Rosebud-Lott, their defeat dropped their record down to 17-11.
